well, here we go again, I'm unemployed as of 9am this morning. Friday was my last day of work at AvWeek and it was sad, because I really did like (almost) everyone who I worked with there. We had a lil cheesecake, they gave me a card, and thus, I said my goodbyes.

But onwards and upwards I say! Look, it's so easy to get down on things in this economy when you see so many of your friends who are unemployed but I'm going to do my best to optimistic (cut to six weeks from now, me crying in the corner)...like I've said in the past, I think I'm a fairly resilient person, so I hopefully don't see myself being unemployed for too long. Time will tell, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

This past weekend was a great one though, really helped me take my mind off of things. I saw a lot of friends, drank far too much and danced my sweet sassy lil ass off. It was a bit tough though last night when my friend Adam's friend asked me what I did for a living and for the first time in a while I had to say "oh, um, I'm unemployed at the moment, but I do event marketing"...uggies...so I had another drink, and I danced a little more...it helps a lil bit...
